Same Great Quality Carte D’Or, New Paper Tub

The impact we have on the planet is important to us, and we’re always looking for ways to improve the sustainability of our ingredients and materials. This year, we’re proud to have taken a very exciting step further in our ambitions to reduce our environmental footprint – moving our full range of classic Carte D’Or flavours to paper tubs.

Our new paper tubs are made with 93% less plastic*, which means we will be saving over 900 tonnes of virgin plastic every year. The paper used for our tubs and lids comes from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources and is PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified. From now on, your Carte D’Or tub and lid can become part of the paper recycling stream (please check your local recycling facilities for more details www.recyclenow.com/local-recycling).

To mark this step-change for Carte D’Or, our new tubs have also been given a fresh, new design: each pack has a story to tell, with beautiful illustrations depicting our core ingredients. Whilst our packs have changed, it’s still the same great quality Carte D’Or ice cream experience you’ve come to know and love inside each tub. Keep an eye out for our new tubs in stores near you from the end of January 2022 onwards.
